4-H Geraniums

LEGAL NOTICE
The following is an important issue of which all Chapel Glen residents should be aware. The owner of a large parcel of land on the East side of Country Club Road has filed a petition for a variance hearing with the City of Indianapolis. The property is East of the Warrington/Country Club road intersection. It includes the floodway, wooded land around the creek, and continues East all the way to the railroad. The property owner wants to pave approximately 18 acres of land beyond the wooded floodway with gravel to create a parking area for storing mobile construction trailers. This has the potential to be very unsightly and could have a detremental effect on our community. The Chapel Glen board of directors received word of this petition on March 19. The board assembled for a special meeting on March 20 at the Clubhouse to discuss the petition. The board approved $2,500 in order to hire one of the best legal firms in Indianapolis to advise us and represent the residents of Chapel Glen in a potential remonstration against this variance. All residents are encouraged to educate themselves about this petition and attend the hearing to voice their opintions. You can dowload a .pdf file of the petition here.
